The Detroit Lions need to follow a tried and true plan for success.
I spent some time studying statistics from the 2008-2009 NFL season. I was trying to get a grasp on where Detroit ranked in numerous categories.
The Associated Press is reporting that Brad Childress thinks Brett Favre's throwing motion looks "fine".
I understand Childress is not the "Clueless" guy that everyone makes him out to be, but it's safe to say he's not a quarterback genius either.

Zach Follett, perhaps the most celebrated seventh round pick in Lions history, has inked a three year deal. Typically seventh round prospects are hoping to make the roster or the practice squad, but not Follett.
Zach has quickly become a fan favorite after putting the rest of the league on notice after the draft. After being over-looked until the seventh round Follett had this to say:

Martin Mayhew talked early on about getting bigger, stronger, and faster on the field. He didn't specify who should get bigger, faster, or stronger though. It would be assumed that Mayhew was speaking about the draft, trades, and free agent signings, tools they have used to achieve the goal. That isn't all Mayhew meant though.

In a recent article written by Ross Tucker on SI.com, Greg Cosell was asked several questions, including two that are very relevant to the Detroit Lions. Cosell is an NFL Films senior producer, the executive producer of the State Farm NFL Matchup Show, and he has been with NFL Films for over 30 years.
